Timeless vows and a surprise choir: Wren & Theodore’s hilltop celebration
A string quartet, a vineyard ceremony and a choir that appeared from behind the cypress trees — Wren and Theodore’s Tuscan-style day was planned around one golden hour.
Wren and Theodore wanted a wedding that felt unhurried: a long ceremony in a vineyard row, dinner at a single imperial table, and dancing that started before the speeches were over. Their planners built the day around the light, moving the ceremony twice to chase the sun.
The surprise came after the vows, when a twelve-voice choir rose from behind the cypress line to sing the couple back down the aisle. Guests still talk about it first, before the food, the dress or the venue.
Dinner was served family-style under festoon lights, and the couple closed the night with a sparkler send-off through the olive grove — the photograph that made their Ashgrove Hall feature.
